Does this cancel noise?
No. This is masking, not noise cancellation. It adds generated sound and cannot remove existing acoustic energy.
What does room shaping do?
It uses a local microphone capture to reduce added playback energy in relatively loud ambient bands.
Does microphone audio leave my device?
No. Microphone audio is processed in browser memory for the capture.
Can I use it without signing in?
Yes. Playback and the first three successful captures per five minutes are available without sign-in.
Which color should I use?
Try the one you find least distracting. No color is universally best.
Is it safe overnight?
Use the lowest comfortable level. This site cannot measure sound level at your ear.
